Were operating both off peak Doncaster-Leeds diagrams today. None seen on the Airedale/Wharfdale corridor from the 0933 Ilkley and 1040 return today. IU 16.10.19 |

Despite comments on the ride - they are a step up in class over any BR era EMU. Just the ride does not match BR Classes 317, 318, 319 etc |

The 3-car versions can do 0-60mph in well under 40 seconds - nearer 35 seconds - depending on driving styles. Some drivers seem to delay applying full power from a start. I'd forgotten that there's a 3car version. 4 car consists of 39.81, 34.95 and 30.12 and 40.75. Which one's missing? IU 17.10.19 |
