Due to a points defect, probably at Cowlairs West Jn the southbound Cowlirs N to W curve line is closed. Oban/Mallaig bound trains are unaffected but those in the opposite direction are currently diverted via Cowlairs East Jn and a reversal in Cadder Yard. Glasgow QS-Anniesland trains are starting at Ashfield. This is expected to last until the 9th July.

Services on the line between Anniesland/westerton and Glasgow Queen Street, via Ashfield, will operate as normal from Sunday July 8 with work to repair a track defect now complete.
