In conjunction with the forthcoming introduction of Class 700 trains a rash of new platform signs is to be erected in the coming period. Diamond shaped they will exhibit FLU (full length unit), RLU (Reduced lenth(sic) unit)or ALL (All stop car mark). Where Selective door opening applies FLU/ALL signs will have SDO lettering on the two top "sides" of the diamond within the outer border band. The signs will be blue on a white background apart from ALL which will be purple.
