Liverpool Lime St / Warrington Bank Quay & Liverpool / Blackpool North remain entirely booked for dmus. A few Liverpool / Manchester Victoria services also remain booked to be worked by dmus. There is a single Class 319 passenger working north of Wigan - the 18:00 Liverpool to Preston ; the unit returns ecs to Wigan on the following day. I hope to offer a performance review to Milepost later this year, but initial impressions are that the "low speed" acceleration is slower than that of Sprinters, and it is only for start to stop times exceeding 3 minutes that one experiences significant reductions in journey times. |
