Due to the London Bridge works causing Thameslink services to be diverted all day via Herne Hill some unsocial hours services are having to be diverted further due to overnight engineering work on that route. Thus trains from Brighton run to Clapham Junction then via Pouparts Jn to Factory Junction and Canterbury Road Jn. Here it takes the ECS only line down to Loughborough Junction (and the normal route)which has possibly not seen regular passenger trains since the First World War (unless you know differently!).
