Most of you will e aware that there is a bad landslip on the Tonbridge/Redhill line at about MP30.60. There is a shuttle service between Edenbridge and Tonbridge. The line between Edenbridge and Redhill has been closed since Christmas. The reopening date is 30 March.

There has been a further landslip near Dormansland, closing the Edenbridge/Lingfield section. Again until 30 March.

This weekend a further landslip occurred on the Uckfield line closing for this weekend.

We therefore have a very unusual situation in that all three routes are blocked
at the same time. Is there an underlying geological strata, or is it just unfortunate?
