Open Train Times - error message when trying to access train details - Posted: April 2, 2013 - 10:11 PM Quote and reply
I have been in correspondence with Peter Hicks regarding a problem I have been having accessing train details on the Open Train Times website.

The problem arises when I ask for trains at a location on an advance date at a time that is not the current time. All I get is "We're sorry something went wrong". " We've been notified about this issue and we'll take a look at it shortly".

Peter thought that there maybe a problem with JavaScript and I had an update downloaded in the recent past which may have caused this problem.

I have since found a way around this problem by going into the site using current time and using the one hour earlier or later buttons to alter the time.

Peter had not had a similar problem reported by anyone else so I offered to ask the question of RPS members and give him any feed back received.

If anyone experiencing similar problems would like to contact me I will collate any information received and pass it on to Peter which may help him to track down the source of the problem. My feeling is that if others had experienced similar problems then it would have surfaced by now.

I can be contacted at dca24@sky.com

David
I've had the messages but have found the source to be my incompetence. Have done a couple of random enquiries for the Summer TT without any problems. Hope you get to the bottom of it if realtraintimes is not a viable alternative.
