The Railway Performance Society has a launched a new video page on YouTube designed to pull together the best train performance related videos from its members and around the web.
The new page is found at www.youtube.com/user/railperf
Members will be able to post their train related videos online. We will also be providing members with links to the most interesting train related performance videos on You Tube.
Videos already on YouTube include archive footage from SNCF record breaking attempts:

Other record runs on YouTube include the German ICE 406.9Km/h (252.7mph) world rail speed record of 1988, and the Siemens Eurosprinter world rail speed record for a locomotive 357km/h ( 221.8mph)
For British enthusiasts, there is also footage of the Eurostar Paris to London record journey, plus Newsreel footage of the 208mph british rail speed record, also set by Eurostar.
