The Railway Performance Society is pleased to announce that data from its vast archive of locomotive performance logs is is being published in Modern Locomotives Illustrated magazine. The articles are being written by RPS members and feature many references to the Society and its archives.
The current edition of the magazine - on sale now - focuses on the now defunct Class 24 & 25 diesel locomotives and recalls some of th most interstinmg runs ever recorded behind these loco's.
Any RPS member is invited to submit any suitable logs and an accompanying commentary for future editions of the magazine. Please contact us at press.office at railperf,.org.uk, or use the contact button on the website.
Future editions - published every two months will again feature performance input and commentary from the RPS and its archives. Next articles to feature in MLI are:
